INIT String Request Procedure for winIDEA

Every emulator system from iSYSTEM is working for 30 days without INIT String. So you have enough time to install winIDEA and follow the steps below.

• Install winIDEA
• Open winIDEA and create a new Workspace or load one of our demo samples
• Select Hardware - Hardware in winIDEA
  Check to make sure you have the correct hardware selected:
   
• Choose the Communication tab and verify communication with the hardware:
   
• Choose the License tab. The Serial number of your hardware and the 'Ident' key is displayed.
   
• Press "Reqest INIT..."
• Key in the Software License Serial number provided with the materials in your purchase. Press Next.
   
• Complete the registration data and press Next.
   
• Verify the method of sending and receiving the INIT request and press Finish.
   
• If you selected e-mail as the method of delivery, the wizard will automatically create an email in your outbox and attach a file containing the INIT request.
  
  If you had problems to send out the request within winIDEA by email, send the generated file LICENSE.ILR in a separate email to license@isystem.com
• An e-mail will arrive, normally the next working day, containing the INIT string and registration information. Copy the INIT string to the Windows Clipboard
   
• Start winIDEA again with the hardware attached and turned on. Select Hardware - Hardware and select the License tab. Press Paste INIT.
  
  The INIT string is automatically pasted from the clipboard into the dialog box. Press Program.
• If you try to program an emulator based license you are asked whether you wish to program the license. Press Yes. If you try to program a computer based licensed it is immediately programmed.
• A message appears after the license was programmed successfully.
• The License tab now displays the programmed license information.
