Hardware Maintenance
What is Hardware Maintenance
If a hardware part under maintenance gets broken, a replacement part will be shipped immediately upon receipt or RMA.
Typically the replacement part will arrive in 1-3 business days.
Independent of the day of purchase, hardware under maintenance enjoys standard warranty conditions.
The broken part must be sent back to TASKING for repair. If the damage is covered by warranty, no further cost will be incurred.
How does Hardware Maintenance extend standard warranty conditions
Newly purchased hardware comes with a 24-month warranty.
If a repair is required, the part must be sent to TASKING for repair. The same part is returned once the repair is finished. Depending on the damage and shipping region, the procedure can take up to 3 weeks. Hardware maintenance shortens this downtime to 1-3 business days.
For hardware parts with expired warranty repair costs apply.
How to get Hardware Maintenance
Hardware Maintenance can be purchased at the time of original part purchase, or at a later time.
When maintenance is purchased at a later time:
- A 3-month grace period applies.
- If the warranty has already expired, a rejoin surcharge applies.
Hardware Maintenance contract
Multiple hardware parts can be easily maintained with a single contract.
New parts can be added at any time, obsolete parts can be removed at contract extension time.
