Version: 9.21.293

Program Files

Program Files are files whose content will be stored into the target system at session start. Typically these will be Motorola S, Binary or Elf files. To program Flash devices which are not memory mapped (SPI, eMMC,...) go to Hardware | Options | Programming.

To configure Program Files select Debug | Configure Session | SoC | Program Files page. To open File options dialog select the file and click Edit.

Files are loaded into winIDEA's memory image in the listed order. The resulting image is then programmed in a single pass. If a specific sequence of memory writes is required by the target ECU, refer to the Knowledge Base topic Flash programming with multiple Program Files.
