New features

Switching between cores in Multi-Core Debugging

This action can now be achieved by double-clicking the desired core in the Session Explorer, where it is then displayed in bold. This means you can now select different cores faster and more directly, without having to use the main menu.

Enable low power mode debug

You can now enable this feature on specific devices that support this mechanism. To enable this new feature, go to Hardware | CPU Options | Debugging.

 

 

Changes to existing features

License dialog

The dialog, found in Tools | License, was updated with a new section, Add-on products. It allows you to select add-on products acquired from the TASKING License Manager (TLM).

Advanced options

The dialog page, found in Tools | Options | Advanced, was updated with new options: Use nested menus and Program and Symbol files shortcuts. These options provide more control over winIDEA's main menu.
